To celebrate the occasion the Year 12 Creation and the Environment Class organised our first annual event, which raised funds for the ‘Bright Night Project’ in East Timor. On Wednesday 19 June, the recently passed Voluntary Assisted Dying legislation became law in Victoria. In specific circumstances, the legislation allows those with a terminal illness in Victoria to enquire of a member of the medical profession to assist them to die.Information sessions for Year 9 Students and Parents will be held at 4.30pm, 5.15pm, 6.00pm OR 6.45pm in the Pearson Lecture Theatre, Whyte Centre. I was pleased to attend the VCE Premier’s Awards on 3 June 2019 to see Year 11 Merton student, Natalie Winsall be presented with this prestigious award. Friday 14 June is a Report Writing Day for teachers and as such there will be no scheduled classes. Students are encouraged to use this day for at home study.
