Living classrooms
When our Tyabb Campus was identified as part of the Western Port koala habitat corridor, Padua College partnered with the Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation Group to address the problem of habitat loss on the peninsula.
This collaboration is transforming the Tyabb Campus into a koala-friendly environment and has become a powerful learning experience for our students. The campus functions as a living classroom, where students explore biodiversity, soil health and ecosystem restoration firsthand. Their involvement has deepened their understanding of habitat conservation and sparked a genuine passion for protecting native wildlife. Through practical, real-world action, students discovered how small efforts can create meaningful, lasting environmental change.
