Padua College operates under the governance of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) and with the consent of the Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne
As part of the broader Catholic education system, the College is committed to fostering the intellectual, spiritual, and personal development of its students. MACS provides strategic oversight and policy direction for Catholic schools within the Archdiocese, ensuring that they continue the mission of Catholic education by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to lead purposeful lives and contribute positively to society.
Governance at Padua College is further supported by a School Advisory Council, which serves as a key conduit between school leadership and the broader community. These councils promote collaborative engagement, assist in maintaining policy consistency, and help alleviate administrative pressures. This governance framework allows school leaders and parish priests to remain focused on their shared mission of delivering quality education grounded in faith.
