The wellbeing and pastoral care of our students are of the utmost importance to all of us at Padua College.

Student counselling is available to assist students to develop appropriate skills and mindsets to manage the sometimes-complex challenges that might be encountered in their education. Counselling is provided within the whole school pastoral context which involves staff and parents, as required.

Padua College has partnered with SchoolTV, an evidence-based online resource designed to support parents and carers with the challenges of raising adolescents. Offering expert guidance on a wide range of topics affecting young people today, SchoolTV is designed to be a first point of reference for families seeking reliable information, practical strategies and reassurance when questions and concerns arise. 

Common topics feature interviews with leading specialists, resources from trusted organisations and content designed to build understanding, confidence and constructive conversations at home. 

Free webinars on key mental health and wellbeing concerns are also offered, along with reports on emerging issues, digital trends and seasonal issues help build awareness to support a more proactive approach to the wellbeing of our young people.

Families are encouraged to explore this resource regularly or sign up for alerts to stay informed when new topics are released.
