This term was filled with one-on-one Year 12 Careers Conversations.
Each year 12 student had the opportunity to sit with one of the careers practitioners to plan out the year and to look at what life will look like after they have finished Year 12.
Many conversations we had around work, and university courses and VTAC.
What is VTAC ?
The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) is an independent shared admissions service facilitating access to tertiary education and further study opportunities and pathways for learners in Victoria and beyond. VTAC acts as a central application point to make the process of getting into a course easier and more efficient for both students and tertiary institutions. VTAC manages applications and assessment for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) and scholarships programs offered by tertiary education providers. We offer admissions and selection services and platforms for tertiary education providers for non-year 12 applicants and postgraduate programs.
Important VTAC dates for Year 12 students
Applications for 2025 courses opens 29th July 2024 – 9am
ATAR released 12th December, - 7am
1st round offers 15th December – 2pm.

- April 23rd NDIS Information session Whyte Building Lecture theatre - 6pm
- April 23rd Folio Preparation RMIT, Whyte Lecture Theatre, 1:25pm sharp (flyer below)
- Year 9 Subject selection and careers conversations – All campuses starting May 6th.
- 13th -17th May – Careers Week - Various Activities happening all week.
- May 22nd – 6pm Year 9 and 10 Parent Pathway Information session – Whyte Building Lecture theatre 6pm (more information to come).
