Sacrament of Confirmation in Western

Sincere thanks to all who participated in preparation for Sacrament of Confirmation, including all the volunteers, principals, REL teachers and school staff, parents/guardians and, of course, our 43 children from all three Catholic schools and a non-Catholic school, who were confirmed by Bishop Tony Ireland at St Brendan’s Church Somerville and Immaculate Conception Church Hastings at the end of July.

May many blessings come to you, and may God’s love be in your heart to strengthen you along life’s journey!

Fr Shymon

Thank you for celebrating the 30th anniversary of St Brendan's School

Thank you to all the wonderful parishioners who joined the school for their 30th Anniversary Mass and afternoon tea on Thursday, 5th of June, or who extended their warm wishes and congratulations to the school on this occasion. We hope you enjoyed celebrating this special milestone for St Brendan's school as much as the children, families and other special guests did. Here's to another 30 or more years together!
