Last week we delivered the first of our remote Tyabb Campus assemblies. The aim of the assemblies is to keep students informed of important information and to give them a sense of connection to their campus while they are in this period of remote learning. We will deliver our campus-based assembly every second Friday and our House Co-ordinators will deliver House assemblies on each alternate Friday. The House Co-ordinators will be sharing creative ways to bolster House spirit so it is important that students log into both Campus and House assemblies.
We have set up a Google Classroom so that we can run House competitions to help keep students connected to school. Each week a new competition will be posted and students will have the opportunity to earn points for their House and even some individual prizes.
Last week we ran a caption competition where Mr Tyrrell did a drawing of a family working and learning from home, and students had to come up with a creative caption. Well done to Amy Bennet for her winning caption below:
'Kids free to good home… I’ll throw in 10 free toilet rolls.'
House scores after the first competition are as follows:
Doyle 22
Cardijn 19
McCormack 10
Geoghegan 5

The Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) counts the number of students who receive additional adjustments or “help” at school because of a disability. The NCCD helps governments plan for the needs of students with disability and schools are required to submit this annually.
