Careers News

This term has certainly brought new challenges and opened up wonderful opportunities to us all in the careers space. While we don’t have all the answers yet, we do know that all institutions are actively working through various scenarios around admissions and will advise us if and when there are any changes. Please know that we are here to support and reassure our students. Life will return to normal but in the meantime, now is a great time to seize all of the opportunities outlined in Careers News.

Universities and TAFE’s are all making plans for fantastic online expo’s, virtual tours, online presentations, and chat sessions so that our students receive all the information they need and the opportunity to have all of their questions answered online.

We appreciate that there is information overload at the moment and the report below is lengthy. Please take note of events or dates relevant to you and put them into your calendars so you don’t miss out on upcoming events or online presentations. You can also sign up for email alerts from universities, and they will keep you updated with reminders about their events.

Our Padua College Careers Website also has a wealth of information and links to universities.

Year 12 students who are looking to compare courses can visit VTAC Course search.

In the meantime please get in touch with the Careers Team for any advice or questions, check out the Padua Careers website or contact Universities directly via their webpages.

But you’ll also get the opportunity to hear from some amazing career folk who are nailing it in their industry. Through a series of live chats, webinars and online ‘booths’, the Year13 Expo will help you figure out what it is you’re passionate about and what you need to do in order to get there: Find out more here.
