Trocaire Awards

The Trocaire (pronounced Trocara) Award, seeks to recognise students who exhibit a willingness to work in the spirit of their House for other members of the Padua College community or for the broader community in general. The word Trocaire is taken from the Irish and means compassion. Nominations for these awards come from House Co-ordinators. We congratulate the following Trocaire award winners:

Ella Seal, Year 7 Kolbe

For her outstanding participation in studies during remote learning and her continuous enthusiasm.

Ethan De Castro, Year 7 Teresa

Ethan is always punctual, fully engaged and so polite and grateful during remote learning.

Noku Nyakudya, Year 8 Romero

Congratulations Noku on applying yourself and striving to improve during Remote Learning Phase 2. You are such a polite, honest and friendly student.

Mia Ensil , Year 9 Frayne

Mia and Jade have worked tirelessly to lift the spirit of their house. They have recorded online house meetings, nutted out ideas to bring our House together, created games, written reports, and videoed community thanks with enthusiasm and smiling faces. They have truly shown that the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.

Jade Cheasely, Year 9 Frayne
