The Trocaire (pronounced Trocara) Award, seeks to recognise students who exhibit a willingness to work in the spirit of their House for other members of the Padua College community or for the broader community in general.


Matteo Polatidis

Matteo demonstrated outstanding leadership at the Year 7 Orientation Day. Matteo was supportive of the Year 7s, engaged positively with them, acted as a role model, ensured their questions were answered and helped provide a smooth and positive start to their time at Padua.

Poppy Watkins
Year 7 Kolbe
Poppy has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to her studies and to the House community. She has put her hand up for almost all aspects of college life without hesitation and put her best foot forward in most of her subjects

Charles Eagle
Year 8 McAuley House
Charles is a hardworking member of the McAuley house who strives to always do his best. He goes out of his way to make the school a better place for everyone. Charles shows a willingness to serve the school community through his participation in a variety of extra curricular activities, and he has demonstrated great leadership qualities.

Lachy Henke

Lachy always abides by the College's policies and practices; he constantly supports his peers in all areas of day-to-day life at the College.

Amelia Benfield

Amelia demonstrates initiative and is happy to help others. She exemplifies the Cardijn House Motto: See, Judge, Act, and her helpfulness is appreciated by staff and students.

Anne Courtney Monteyro
Year 8 Cardijn House
Awarded to Anne for her consistent work ethic. Anne has an attendance rating of 100%. She conscientiously applies herself, ensuring homework and work tasks are completed and she is a shining example of the benefits that consistent attendance brings.
