As we come to the close of another year at Padua College, we pause to give thanks for the many blessings that have shaped our journey together.

CAROLINE JEREMIAH

DEPUTY PRINCIPAL, MORNINGTON YEAR 10-12 CAMPUS

In the spirit of St Francis, we celebrate the achievements of our students and the unwavering support of families and staff who make our community so special.

HeadStart Program

Our students stepped into the HeadStart Program, beginning their 2026 classes and curriculum. It is always inspiring to see their enthusiasm as they meet new teachers, explore new subjects, and set goals for the year ahead. Many subjects will have set holiday homework over the break, thus we encourage parents to provide that gentle encouragement to ensure the work is completed prior to the return of the new school year.

Year 12 Valedictory Celebration

One of the most memorable moments this year was our Year 12 Valedictory Celebration, held for the first time at the Crown Palladium. What a joy it was to gather with staff, students, and families in such a spectacular setting to honour the Class of 2025. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and a deep sense of gratitude for the journey we have shared. We pray that our graduates continue to walk confidently in faith and hope as they begin the next chapter of their lives. We look forward to hearing about all their adventures and achievements in the years ahead.

Semester Two Awards

Our Senior School Awards Assembly was another highlight, where we celebrated academic excellence and contributions to College life. We also blessed our newly elected College Captains, Vice Captains, and Portfolio Captains, entrusting them with the responsibility to lead with humility and courage. May they be inspired by Christ’s example of servant leadership as they guide our community in 2026.

Examinations and Reflections

The completion of VCAA exams and Year 10 & 11 assessments marks an important milestone for our students. These results are not just numbers, but opportunities to reflect, learn, and grow. We encourage students to take time to consider what worked well and what new approaches might help them thrive in the year ahead. Every challenge is a stepping stone toward success.
