Aspire9 Focus Weeks are taking place this week, which provides our Year 9 students with a good opportunity to continue to develop their sense of self and personal initiative. The Australian Church and Modern Church House Communities are enjoying an outdoor camp while the Mercy and Franciscan House Communities are on the Aspire9 City Experience.
We are indeed fortunate to be able to offer our young people these magnificent opportunities and in anticipation I offer sincere thanks to Ms Emma O’Dowd, Ms Lauren Ori, all the Aspire9 Staff for their involvement, especially those teachers who attend the overnight camps and give up precious time with their own families.
As we move through to the next few weeks of term I would like to wish the Year 12 students all the very best as the VCE students complete exams and the VCE VM student finish off final assessment tasks. I also remind students in the 7-9 Campus that while the Year 12 students may be finished formal lessons, the students in the 7-9 Campus still have much to achieve both in 2024 but also in the years ahead at Padua so please keep in mind to maintain a quiet campus particularly around exam rooms to support our Year 12s.
Wishing you all continued blessings.
