YEAR 10 Work Experience Opportunity

Undertaking Work Experience in Year 10 is a fantastic way to get a taste of the real world and start thinking about your future. Please refer to the email sent to all Year 10 students this term. If students are interested in taking up this opportunity – please come into the Careers/VET office in the UFC building to express your interest and gather all of the relevant information.
VTAC Information for Year 12 Students and Families
Students will receive their ATAR on Thursday 11 December at 7am.
Between 11 December and 13 December 12pm is the formal Change Of Preference (COP) period. It is a designated time where you can contact your chosen institution (university) if you have questions about changing your preferences. For example: you might want to reorder or add to your preferences if you did better or didn’t do as well as you expected, or you have simply had a change of heart about where and what you would like to study.
Once you have your ATAR you can check it against last year's ATAR (on university website or Course search on VTAC), whilst the ATARs change from year to year the ATARs provided on website/Course search give a good indication of what the minimum ATAR for 2025/26 might be.
If your ATAR is just below the indicated ATAR, KEEP the course on your preference list (if you still want to do it), as ATARs move up and down each year.
Don't forget other calculations are included in the adjustment of ATAR through SEAS applications and possible subject adjustments.
You will only get ONE offer in Round 1, provided you are eligible i.e.: you have the prerequisites, ATAR, other criteria if require: interviews/Casper tests/performances, so it is important to make sure you list your preferences in the order you want to study NOT in the order you think you will get an offer.
Re Casper test - all Education (teaching) courses at all universities require completion of the online CASPER test. CASPER is a situational judgement test. No CASPER = No offer, regardless of ATAR.

Accessing your ATAR on Thursday 11th December:
You can receive your 2025 ATAR online through the VCE Results and ATAR Service website from December 11, 2025, or via mail. To access the online service, you must register in advance on the website or through the Results and ATAR app, using your VCAA student number.
Victoria
- Online: Register for the VCE Results and ATAR service at resultsandatar.vic.edu.au. The service opens on December 11, 2025.
- Registration: You must register before 5:00 pm on December 10, 2025. You will need your VCAA student number to register.
- Mail: Your results will also be sent by mail.
All universities hold Change Of Preference Expos between 11-13 December if you need help with change of preference. Or the careers team with be available at the school Thursday 11 October 8.30-4pm and Friday 12 October 8.30am – 12pm.
