Thank you to all staff and families who helped to ensure the success of this important orientation process with the first step into Padua for the Class of 2031 is now complete.
Congratulations to Year 7 Mannix House for taking out the basketball trophy and also to Year 7 Sebastian who won the lunchtime netball tournament. Thanks to Ms Swift, Mr Morgan and the Senior VET Sports and Recreation Class for organising these events.
Well done to the Senior Student Leaders Charlie Dornom, Thomas McInnes, Rosey McInnes and Sophia Biasuzzo along with Mr Matthew William (VP- Mission Identity, Community) for organising a very successful and fun night for staff, students and families as well as raising funds for St Vinnies. Well done also to the Quiz Masters, Mr Andrew Ferguson & Mrs Cathy Moloney for a successful night!
Congratulations to all students who represented the College in Athletics, at Casey Fields again achieving SIS victory. Congratulations also to Mr Luke Morgan and the sports staff who led the students during this very successful day.
Please note we continue to have students travel to and from school on bicycles and regular scooters without helmets. At school we can and will follow up these students with appropriate learning opportunities, however too often we are made aware of students in uniform on public roads and or footpaths without helmets. We ask parents to please have in depth conversations with their child around the possible outcomes for travelling without a helmet Also please be reminded Under 16s are not permitted under Victorian Law to travel on E-Scooters at all. We will also raise this at school at upcoming student assemblies.
Please be reminded that summer uniform is now permissible and winter uniform can also continue to be worn but we ask that they are not worn mixed and matched. Can I also please remind all students and families in regards our uniform expectations, in particular, Blazer to school (including Homeroom) and from school, for some of our students dress length will need to be adjusted after the winter, and for some of our Year 9 boys the day is nearing where you will need to commence shaving as facial hair is not permitted.
Thank you all for your support,
God Bless.
