Term 3 has been a busy one with students finding out information about future subject and pathway options, having subject selection interviews and selecting subjects for 2023. We also held our annual Education Careers and Training Expo (ECaT) in July. It was wonderful to be able to hold this event on-site again after two years of having to deliver it remotely. We had incredible numbers of students and parents attend and it was great to see so many students invested in their future options. The tertiary providers who attended were impressed with the quality of the questions students asked and how engaged they were. I sincerely thank all of those involved who made this event possible. We are most appreciative of the generosity of the Padua teaching staff and the tertiary providers who attended our ECaT evening to pass on information to our students and families.

VTAC is currently open for Year 12 students to apply for TAFE and University courses. The cut-off date for students to lodge a timely application is Thursday 29 September (5pm). Accompanying SEAS and scholarship applications must be lodged by Friday 7 October (5pm). For details of how to apply please visit the VTAC website.

Students can apply directly for some courses to Holmesglen Institute and Chisholm TAFE. Expressions of interest can be lodged now, with the enrolment process beginning in October.
