We visited the Tyabb Campus of Padua College and immediately knew this was the one for Amy. Apart from the beautiful small campus, the College approach to developing a whole person not just based on one belief or set program, really appealed to us.
Amy’s time at Tyabb was beyond expectation – teachers knowing every student’s name, the strong sense of community, the encouragement of participation in activities other than academia, and the development of the whole student, whilst nurturing strengths really made Amy’s time at Tyabb – were amazing.
As with any transition to a larger campus, the prospect of undertaking Year 10 onwards at Mornington Campus was not without trepidation, but it was here that Amy really bloomed.
The kindness of staff, exceptional support and focus on wellbeing, and the encouragement of participation, leadership and becoming conscionable young adults meant that Amy quickly warmed to the larger campus life.
We decided early on that VCE was not for Amy, and that VCE VM was more suitable with real world experience. Amy bloomed under the guidance of her VCE VM teachers, and I cannot thank them enough for encouraging her in her pursuits. She loved her VCE VM course in Hospitality & proudly won the Secondary Student of the Year at the Chisholm Awards 2025.
I cannot recommend Padua College highly enough. The staff, care and support truly made Amy’s time at Padua rewarding and memorable.
