Mother's Day Breakfasts at Padua College

We were delighted to welcome mothers, guardians and special people to our Mother’s Day Breakfasts held across all Campuses over the Mother’s Day period. Guests enjoyed a delicious breakfast and the opportunity to connect as a community while hearing from our wonderful guest speakers. At Mornington we heard from Josie Luppino, who shared her reflections on the joys and demands of being a working mother at our Mornington Campus, drawing on her 25 years of teaching experience and her perspective as a Padua parent.

At Tyabb the speaker was Bec Watson, a Mornington Peninsula local and part of our Padua community. Bec is the creative voice behind a much-loved online community known for its humour, honesty, and distinctly Peninsula perspective. Bec’s work is about connection: noticing the ordinary moments of life, finding humour in our shared experiences, and building community through authenticity. Her chat was delivered with humour and heart, encouraging people to reflect, laugh together, and celebrate the value of connection, community, and being unapologetically yourself as you navigate the beautiful chaos of motherhood.

Our Rosebud attendees heard from Jo Slater, an experienced school counsellor at the Rosebud Campus with many years of working alongside young adolescents and their families. Jo spoke about her passion for supporting students through the social and emotional challenges of adolescence helping them to build resilience, confidence, and positive coping strategies.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for these warm and meaningful events.
