It is a privilege to introduce myself as the Director of the Rosebud Campus.
I feel incredibly blessed to be part of this school community, and I bring to this role a deep commitment to Catholic education, shaped by extensive leadership experience. My vocational journey has seen me teaching in boys’ schools and co-educational settings, with these experiences enriching my understanding of how young people learn, grow, and find their place in the world.
At the core of my leadership is a strong sense of purpose: relaying the story of Jesus in a way that speaks meaningfully to today’s context. I am passionate about recontextualising our tradition, honouring its depth while engaging in authentic dialogue with the world around us. This includes listening to and learning from others, valuing diverse perspectives, and building a community grounded in respect, encounter, and belonging.
I deeply appreciate the realities of balancing work and family life. This personal experience shapes my approach and strengthens my belief in the importance of strong partnerships between home and school. I know that when families and educators work together with trust and a shared purpose, young people are best supported to flourish.
My leadership is grounded in the rich charisms that shape our identity at Padua College. I am inspired by the hospitality of the Mercy Sisters, the relational and humble spirit of the Franciscans, and the example of St Anthony of Padua. These traditions call me to lead with compassion, openness, and a commitment to ensuring that every person feels welcomed and valued within our community.
I am a strong advocate for student voice and agency. I believe that students learn best when they are active participants in their own education; when they are empowered to express their ideas, contribute meaningfully, and take ownership of their learning journey. Creating these opportunities is central to fostering confident, capable, and compassionate young people.
As a lifelong learner, I am committed to ongoing growth—for myself and for the entire community. I value reflection, discernment, curiosity, and the continual pursuit of excellence in both learning and wellbeing.
