We congratulate Year 10 Mercy student Hudson Maggio on his outstanding achievements this year in the field of karate. Hudson traveled to Turkey in October to compete in the Junior World Karate Championships. There were 67 boys in Hudson’s weight class and Hudson fought five times to place seventh in the competition, one round outside the medals. This is an outstanding result and the best in the Australian squad.
