"Dear young people, do not bury your talents, the gifts that God has given you! Do not be afraid to dream of great things!" - Pope Francis, 27/4/13
Padua College is committed to ensuring that we continue to provide a quality learning and teaching program for all students. In order to achieve this, we are currently providing students with a remote learning and teaching program with the aim of providing continuity of learning for all.
We will evaluate as we go, to make the system as workable as possible for both students and staff. This process will involve seeking feedback from students, staff and parents. We will adapt tasks and tailor learning as necessary, as we seek to provide students with access to quality learning and teaching in this new and challenging environment.
The following PDF documents are available to download, and they provide a summary of the key information to support parents/guardians and students during this period of Teaching & Learning.
Please note that the Handbooks are very similar to the Handbooks made available at the commencement of Phase 1 of Remote Learning and any changes to the original versions have been highlighted in blue to make it easy to identify.
At Padua’s first Online Parent Forum, the remote learning experience and subsequent return to onsite learning was discussed.
The forum was held on 18 June, comprising of members of the College Improvement Team and Principal Anthony Banks. Parents were asked to submit content contributions and questions for the panel. It provided our community with the opportunity to engage, connect and communicate their experience so that we can all learn from it.
If you weren’t able to see it live, please take this opportunity to view the forum here:
