What should I do if my child tests positive for COVID-19?

If your child has symptoms of COVID-19, the Department of Health (DOH) recommends rapid antigen testing (RAT).

Parents/guardians/carers should report a positive result to the DOH (online or by calling 1800 675 398) and the College by phone or written notification on the day of the positive result.

Students with a positive result are recommended to isolate for a minimum of five days and not attend school until their symptoms have resolved.

Students who need to isolate as a result of COVID-19 will be supported in the same way as students with an extended absence due to illness or injury, with learning materials provided to support their continued learning.
