Jackie Sannia - Piano / Vocal Teacher

Choosing to focus on 'Contemporary Voice' after finishing her piano exams, Jackie Sannia studied VCE Voice in Year 12 with her performance exam earning a perfect score.  She was later invited to perform at the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall as part of the Top Class Performance Series (2012).  While completing VCE, Jackie began teaching piano and voice at Mornington’s Nepean Music Centre.

Jackie competed as a finalist in the second season of The Voice Australia in 2013.  At the age of 18, three of her five singles hit the Top 20 of the Australian, making her debut in the ARIA charts at #24.

Following her experience on television Jackie went on to study a Bachelor of Vocal Performance at the Australian Institute of Music graduating as the Dux of her class and has made a name for herself in Melbourne as one of the premier up-and-coming vocalists of her generation.

An avid composer, Jackie has since gone on to score her first film and has recently completed her first independent record due for release later this year. Jackie currently teaches voice and piano at Padua College and lectures in Contemporary Voice History and Application at the Victorian College of the Arts.
