Rosebud Interhouse Swimming Carnival

A great day of swimming took place at the Pines Pool in Frankston with over 350 students representing Anthony, Goold, McAuley and Teresa Houses in the Rosebud Campus Swimming Carnival on Wednesday 7 February.

Intense heats, BIG SWIMS, biathlons, relays and extraordinary House spirit all led to a very successful, fun-filled day. The Year 7 students made their debuts with some very impressive results and were awarded with the best participation rate of any year level! The Houses were led gallantly by their respective Sports Leaders who tirelessly rallied around their peers to get involved, cheer each other on and swim to victory!

In the end it was the Sports Leaders Kirsten Amedeo and Kade White who, along with Mrs Goldsmid, led Teresa to triumph the other Houses and be crowned Rosebud Interhouse Swim Carnival Champions of 2018. Congratulations!

Final Scores

1st - Tersea - 561 points

2nd - McAuley - 433 points

Once again, many thanks to all the staff, sport leaders and student helpers in making the carnival such a success. The Perpetual Swimming Carnival trophy will be formally presented to Teresa House, as well as the Year Level Champion awards, at the end of term assembly.
