Anthony Banks is in his 26th year of employment in Catholic Education.
Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Ballarat, now Federation University) Anthony worked as an Accountant for a year, before completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at Australian Catholic University. This enabled Anthony to move into a career in teaching, which he has thoroughly enjoyed! Anthony has taught, and had various leadership positions, at four Catholic Schools: Emmaus College (18 years), St Peters College, Cranbourne (5 years, 4 as Deputy Principal), St Joseph’s College Mildura (2 years as Principal), and now at Padua College.
Anthony sees himself as a lifelong learner and has continued to undertake further study in recent years. The most recent of these has been a Post Graduate Diploma in Student Wellbeing and Masters in Education (both at the University of Melbourne).
